The Suite for Piano was composed between February 27th and April 22nd 2006, and is in a more modern, dissonant style. This is Emmanuel's first composition in this genre.
Emmanuel's Grand Waltz Brilliante in g# minor is his largest waltz for the piano (of the five he has written so far). His newest waltz, the Grand Waltz Brilliante in f minor, is almost as large as the waltz proceeding it. It was recently performed to some enthusiastic reaction at the Classical Music Festival at the Blue Frog Coffeehouse on February 26th 2006.
The Mazurka in A major is one of Emmanuel's most tender works, with intricate romanic harmonies, and bitter-sweet melody. The composition was written between September 17th and 18th 2005.
